The context of this project was housing in downtown Los Angeles, however we were supposed to design accounting for the FUTURE. This could be either technologically and in a building sense or either addressing environmental or social factors. THIS design focuses on the growth of food, housing the homeless, as well as providing an accessible leisure area for the surrounding community. The site measures 60’ x 150’ and is accessible from S. Olive St. Additonally, the plot is set on an angle facing Northwest. LA averages year-round mild to warm weather with little rain and large quantities of sunlight.
