The purpose of this project was to create a connection between the United States and Mexico, transcending the borders between the two countries. The corridor from the United States side goes beneath the US preliminary border fence and the corridor on the Mexico side goes over the US Mexico border fence, where they meet in the no-man’s land forming a multi-national center. Families separated by the border can spend valuable, priceless time together, without the fear of legal repurcusions and other people can come to learn more about the history of the two countries and their relations with each other, some happy and many unfortunately, and unnecessarily sad.
